Safety ID bracelets Lori's Nursing Necklace "Safety ID Bracelets" were created by a mother (me!) out of necessity. I had an almost two year old, and we were headed for the beach for vacation.  I was so worried that he would get away from me, since he is so fast. So I made him two bracelets, one with "mom" and my cell phone number, and one with "dad" and his cell phone number. I added a few colored beads and a variety bead or two to make the bracelet fun for him. That way, if he did escape (he hasn't yet!), another family or person who found him would quickly be able to call me, even on a crowded beach. This also eased my mind a bit at any crowded place, like theme parks. Safety ID bracelets can be made to fit any wrist or ankle, from toddler to early school age. Because in winter wrists and ankles may not be visible, the bracelet comes with a removable clip.  With the clip attached, the bracelet can be clipped to a jacket zipper, or to a shoestring. Sizes: Extra small (1-3 year old), Small (4-5 year old) and Med (5-8 year old) Large fun beads (choose one for Small or Med bracelet, extra small cannot accommodate large fun beads):  Train, plane, Car, Boat, Teddy Bear, Scottie Dog, Cat, Dolphin, Whale, Turtle, Football. Small fun beads (choose for any size- one will be used for XS bracelets, and two for Sm or Med): Mickey ears, Butterfly, flower, heart, star, soccer ball, baseball, basketball. Because of the size of a child's wrist, not much more than "mom" or "dad" and a phone number will fit.  For necklaces with more info, see the next paragraph! Safety ID bracelets are sold in sets of two (do not have to be the same info on both) for $14.00 per pair. Shipping is $3.00 per pair in the US ($4.00 Int'l airmail). Safety ID Necklaces Lori's Child Safety ID necklaces are similar in purpose to our safety ID bracelets, that is fast contact of you if your child is separated from you in a crowd. The necklaces usually hold such info as "call my parents @000-000-0000", but do not give the child's name. You can have almost anything put on the necklace that you'd like. Because the necklaces are larger, more fun and variety beads can be added too (see our styles page) to make wearing this more fun for your toddler or preschooler. The necklaces are made with a magnetic "breakaway" safety clasp. Glow beads can be added for night time visibility. The information is presented in easy to read letter beads, with larger number beads to call attention to your phone number. The necklaces are approx. 18-20" long, depending on the information they hold. Each necklace is $17.00, plus $3.00 US s&h ($4.00 Int'l Airmail).
